PRODUCT DETAILS

Induction brazing is a brazing process that uses electromagnetic induction to heat the workpieces and melt the filler metal (braze alloy) to form a strong bond between the materials being joined. Unlike traditional brazing methods that rely on an open flame or heated surface, the heating process of induction brazing is more controlled, efficient and precise. Induction brazing is the cleanest and most environmentally friendly heating welding method in the world.

Induction brazing is commonly used for brazing materials such as steel, copper, copper alloys, stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and other weldments with symmetrical shapes. It is particularly effective for pipe fittings, pipes, flanges, shafts, sleeves, turning tool heads, and sawtooth pieces.

25KW High Frequency Portable Induction Brazing Machine

Designed for copper tubes, this induction brazing equipment uses an induction current to heat the solder to the required temperature, causing it to melt. This allows the two metals, whether of the same material or different materials, to wet each other and join together.

The choice of frequency band and power depends on the brazing cross-sectional area. For welding cross-sectional areas less than 30×30 mm, a high-frequency induction brazing heater with an operating frequency of 60-80KHz is generally used. For larger cross-sectional areas (greater than 30×30 mm) and large-volume processing, a high-frequency portable induction brazing machine with a slightly higher power is recommended, with a frequency range of 15-60KHz.

The brazing process using a high-frequency portable induction brazing heater consists of several steps. First, clean the surface of the workpieces with flux and ensure that the workpieces fit tightly. The brazing material is placed near or between the joint gap. When the workpieces and solder are heated to a temperature slightly above the melting point of the solder, the solder melts and is drawn into the joint by capillary action. The liquid solder then spreads and combines with the workpiece metals. After stopping heating, place the workpiece in quicklime or insulating sand for a short time to allow the brazed joint to solidify.

The difference between a high-frequency brazing machine and other welding machine is that it has multiple functions besides welding. In addition to welding various metal materials, high-frequency welding machines are also used in processes such as hot melting, smelting and heat treatment. Welding is just one of its many uses.

Melting

High-frequency induction brazing machines can be used for melting alloy tools, such as alloy turning tools, milling cutters, planers, saw blades, reamers, boring cutters, etc.

Welding

Various high-frequency induction heating machine treatments for automobile and motorcycle parts, such as crankshafts, connecting rods, piston pins, camshafts, valves, various gears in Kinds of small shaft crank pins, various rocker arms, rocker shafts, and other high-frequency quenching heat treatment.

Forging

Hot forming for all kinds of standard parts, fasteners, machinery parts, hardware tools, and straight shank twist drills. Metal annealing, such as tensile steel; wire, nail wire heating, and stainless steel annealing.

25KW Portable High Frequency Induction Brazing Equipment

What Are the Advantages of 25KW Portable High Frequency Induction Brazing Equipment?

Kexin portable high-frequency induction brazing heaters heat quickly and have high production efficiency. With a unit power output range of 500 to 1000 kW², this induction heater has an extremely fast heating speed and can complete large-area welding in just a few seconds. This significantly shortens welding time, improves production efficiency, and reduces production costs. The smaller heat-affected zone minimizes substrate damage and ensures excellent welding results.

Its skin effect makes its heating depth shallow, usually only a few tenths of a millimeter. Heat is transferred to the core through the workpiece, and the workpiece is quickly heated to the required temperature as soon as it enters the induction field. After leaving the induction zone, the workpiece quickly enters the cooling stage. Since there is almost no holding time, the heating time is extremely short and the heat-affected zone is kept to a minimum, thus avoiding substrate damage. In addition, the formation of oxide scale is also minimized, and even when heated in air, there is minimal oxidation and decarburization on the surface.

The process helps to avoid or reduce the formation of interfacial brittle compounds, thereby obtaining welded joints with excellent mechanical properties. Induction heated workpieces achieve excellent metallographic quality due to fast heating, concentrated energy, short cooling time and refined austenite grain structure. For dissimilar metal welding, the short heating time further reduces the formation of brittle compounds, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the welded joint.

The equipment is able to handle complex interfaces because the heating head of the inductor can be designed according to the specific needs of different workpieces. The extremely short heating time enables local heating, rapid temperature build-up in the heating zone, and narrow temperature transitions. This enables the sensor to be moved along complex interfaces, resulting in efficient welding of complex joints.

In addition, high-frequency portable induction heaters for brazing have other advantages, such as energy saving, repeatability and easy automation of the production process.
