Induction Welding Machine

Induction welding is the process of heating an electrically conducting object (usually a metal) by electromagnetic induction, through heat generated in the object by eddy currents (also called Foucault currents).

While an induction welding machine consists of an electromagnet, and an electronic oscillator that passes a high-frequency alternating current (AC) through the electromagnet. The rapidly alternating magnetic field penetrates the object and generating electric currents inside the conductor called eddy currents.

Takes it as simple, induction welding is a heating process in which two or more like or unlike materials are joined together by means of another metal alloy with a lower melting point.

Induction Welding Machine Introduction

1. Induction welding machine deploys with Germany SIEMENS INFINEON IGBT Module (40-60KHZoscillation frequency, fast response time, high arc stability and almost spatter-free welding).

2.  It contains Japan Nichicon electrolytic capacitor (filter capacitor).

3. It is adopted signal circuit, drive circuit board, control circuit board and components: Toshiba, Hitachi, Motorola and also China’s top manufacturers.

4.  This induction welding machine uses international advanced all-solid-state semiconductor power devices.

5. Imported transistor integrated block.

6. High-speed control tube.

7. As with perfect control, protection and alarm display circuit, the machine could get full automatic tracking frequency and continuously adjustable power. It is also safe and dependable protection, clear and occurs data display and etc.

The induction welding machine is widely used in many different applications

For induction welding machine, it is suitable for welding various hardware cutting tools, such as a diamond tool, abrasive tool, drilling tool, alloy saw blade, hard alloy cutter, milling cutter, reamer, planning tool and solid center bit.

Induction welding of various hardware mechanical gadgets, silver soldering and brazing of metals of the same variety or different varieties, such as hardware toilet and kitchen products, refrigerating copper fitting, lamp decoration fitting, precision mold fitting, hardware handle, egg beater, alloy steel and steel, steel and copper as well as copper and brass.

Compound pot bottom welding is mainly applicable to the braze welding of circular. Square as well as other irregular plain pot bottoms, it is also applicable to plain braze welding of other metals.

Induction welding of heating of disc of electric hot-water kettle mainly refers to the braze welding of stainless steel flat base, aluminum sheet and tubular electric heating elements of various forms,

What is induction heating?

The heating method known as induction heating occurs when we place an electrically conductive material in a varying magnetic field. So induction heating is a rapid form of heating. Its current is induced directly into the heated par. Also, induction heating is a non-contact form of heating.

Can you braze glass or ceramics with induction?

If you work with glass or ceramics, a compact vacuum furnace is a great solution for brazing. You’ll get quick, clean heat with very precise temperature control.

What makes up a typical induction heating system?

A typical induction heating system consists of the induction heating power supply, an induction heating coil and a water-cooling source and several internal components inside the power supply. The induction heating power supply sends alternating current through the induction coil, thus generating a magnetic field. Hence place a workpiece within the coil and enters the magnetic field, then it induces eddy currents within the workpiece. Furtherly it’s generating precise and localized heat without any physical contact between the induction coil and the workpiece.

Will induction heating increase my utility bills?

Not likely. Induction heating is a very effective, efficient means of heating. Most of our customers who are switching to induction for the first time see their utility bills go down.

What are the typical utility requirements for induction?

Of course, it depends on the system, but a typical system requires 380, 3-phase VAC at 50 Hz and 30 Amps. Also, figure on 80 PSI compressed air and 40 PSI water at 4 gallons per minute for cooling.
