Intermediate frequency forging system is generally used for heating before forging. Because the heated metal blanks require diathermy performance, they are also called diathermic furnaces in the forging industry. The intermediate frequency forging system uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert electrical energy into heat energy to heat the metal blank.
This has changed the scene of the blacksmith shop where coal was burned and heated for ironing thousands of years ago, and the labor intensity of the forging industry is greatly reduced, labor efficiency is greatly improved, and the forging environment is greatly improved. The quality of improving and heating metal blanks has been greatly stabilized and has become the new favorite of the forging industry.
Intermediate frequency (IF) induction forging uses electromagnetic induction at medium frequencies (300 Hz – 20 kHz) to rapidly and uniformly heat metal billets for shaping, offering significant energy savings, reduced material loss (less oxidation), and faster, cleaner operation than traditional furnaces, ideal for large batches or thick sections requiring deep hardening.
Automatic Feeding Machine for transferring bolts nuts, gears, half shaft links, bearings and etc.

Medium frequency induction melting furnace for melting 20-30KG steel and stainless steel
Request A QuoteHeat is generated inside workpieces via electromagnetic eddy‑current effect. Fast heating across full cross‑section ensures homogeneous temperature, improves metal flow during forging and stabilizes metallurgical performance after heat treatment.
Thermal efficiency reaches 80‑90%. Far lower power consumption than gas furnaces or resistance furnaces; power‑on‑demand mode avoids idle heat loss, cutting production cost greatly.
Short high‑temperature holding time reduces scaling & material loss. Less surface defects, higher finished‑product yield, longer service life of forging dies and tooling.
Frequency & power adjustable. Compatible with carbon steel, alloy steel, copper, aluminum and other metals. Quick‑change inductor supports multiple workpiece sizes, easy upgrade and maintenance.
Perfectly matched with automatic feeder, conveyor, robot, press and hot‑shear equipment. Seamlessly connect to full‑auto production line, supporting 24‑hour continuous stable operation.
Flameless heating, no smoke, no waste gas emission, low noise. Meet low‑carbon environmental‑protection requirements; eliminate risks from open flame and fuel storage.
Widely used for forging pre‑heating and heat treatment of auto parts, fasteners, engineering machinery, hand‑tools and non‑ferrous metal workpieces, supporting local heating and fully‑automatic production lines.
It performs heat treatment for shaft, gear‑sprocket and sleeve‑bushing components.
It also handles hardening and tempering for hand tools, cutting tools and various spring‑steel parts.
